Features

Bulk upload

Drag in a batch of EICR PDFs. CertBase reads the certificate number, address, postcode, inspection date and next due date from each one.

Codes and observations

CertBase records whether each report is satisfactory, how many C1, C2, C3 and FI codes it has, and the text of each observation.

Remedial tracking

Record when remedial work was done, who did it, and any notes.

Follow-up reports

When a new EICR comes back satisfactory, mark it as resolving the earlier unsatisfactory report. Both stay on record.

History for each property

See every EICR for a location in date order, with outcomes and observation counts.

Customer portal

Clients can see their EICRs and observation counts in their own portal.

Frequently asked questions

Who is EICR tracking for?
Landlords, housing providers, facilities managers and contractors who receive EICRs and need to follow up outcomes, observations and remedial work across many properties.
Can I create EICRs in CertBase?
Not yet. Creating BS 7671 EICRs on site is in development. At the moment CertBase tracks the EICRs you upload, including their outcomes, observations and remedial work.
Which EICR PDFs can CertBase read?
CertBase reads the details from EICR PDFs automatically. If you are not sure whether your reports will be read, send us a sample and we will check.
Does a C3 make an EICR unsatisfactory?
No. Only C1, C2 or FI codes make the overall result unsatisfactory. A report with only C3 observations can still be satisfactory.
